Deep Blue Crew’s First Ocean Story Video

Deep Blue Crew’s First Ocean Story Video

Arthur here, reporting from the calm side of the reef. Today’s headline: Deep Blue Crew has its very first ocean story video, made for slow breathing, curious minds, and bedtime waves.

For months, Donna and I have been dreaming about a quiet corner of the internet where kids (and grown-ups) can listen to gentle ocean stories, learn a little science, and feel their shoulders drop away from their ears. Today, we’re testing the first piece of that dream: a calm story video for the Deep Blue Crew.

This first video is part storytime, part soft launch. It’s not the final version of our future cartoon series, but a practice dive: a way to test voices, pacing, and how it feels to mix real science with slow, steady narration. Think of it as a “pilot ripple” before the full waves arrive.

What this video is made for

  • Wind-down time after a big day of school, sports, or beach exploring.
  • Curious Deep Blue Crew explorers (ages 9–14) who like calm stories with real facts.
  • Families who want gentle ocean education without jump-scare volume or chaos.

Behind the scenes, Donna is experimenting with animation tools, character tests, and how to keep Arthur and his friends looking the same from scene to scene. Each new clip helps us figure out what works, what doesn’t, and how to build a future series that feels peaceful, smart, and truly “Fossils With a Story, Art With a Soul.”

Where to watch it

You can watch the new video in Storytime Cove, tucked inside the Gold Tooth Club.

This is just the beginning for Deep Blue Crew’s animated side. For now, find a comfy spot, take a slow breath, and let the ocean do the talking.
